Our Baked Goods

A typical day at Benaglio’s starts at 6:30 in the morning. The day begins with prepping the bread dough for our Hoagies, Foccacia Buns, Bread Sticks and other needed Breads and placing them in the proofing box. Upon proper proofing of our breads we bake, cool, cut and Bag them to maintain freshness.

Next is checking how many Brownies, Baklava, Millionaire Cakes, Carrot Cakes, Cookies, Cheesecakes need baked and Tiramisu and Fudge Topping for Brownies made.
We also make our own Croutons and Crackers.

Our Soups & Sauces.

We make our own Marinara, Alfredo, Southwestern Sauce, Thai Sauce, Oriental Sauce, Sun-dried Tomato Pesto and Basil Walnut Pesto. From there we make Ranch Spud Soup, Wisconsin Cheese Soup, Chicken Tortilla and Bean soups as needed in our own kitchen from scratch with fresh cut vegetables. We also blend our own flavored margarines.

Our Salad & Pasta Bar

We have total of four walk-in refrigerators, one walk-in freezer and four counter top refrigerators. Why do we need all this refrigerated space ?

Fresh VegetablesAll our vegetables which we use a ton of come to us unprocessed fresh in cases. We buy our groceries twice weekly. We need space to not only hold the cases that we buy, but also to store the vegetables, pastas, meats, cheeses and prepared food for the day.

Our Salad Bar Chef start with a list of all the fresh vegetables and fresh fruits that you see on our salad and pasta bar and prepares them for your consumption daily. We then prepare our own, the best you have tasted Ranch Dressing, and other house specialty dressings. We make our own silks and creams blended with fruits, cookies and candies that you see next to our fresh cut fruits. To add to that we make our own Garden Rotini Salad, Pea Salad, Corn Relish, Ceci Bean Salad, Cole Slaw and many more.

Our Pasta Chef roasts fresh Garlic and chops it fresh to season your pasta dishes to your liking. He cuts up a big hunk of Parmesan wheel into small cubes so that he can grate it fresh on top of you pasta. He cooks pasta daily to make sure we don’t run out when you need them. Our Panini’s & Pizza’s

Our Panini and Pizza Chefs start with slicing fresh Lettuce, Tomatoes & Romaine. Then we slice our meats and portion them so you get consist amount every time you order. We make our own zesty pizza sauce, grate whole milk mozzarella for Pizza. We use a hand tossed style crust for our pizza offered in two different sizes. With the exception of Sliced American cheese (the American Favorite) which is processed, all our cheese are real cheeses. Our Panini Chefs use a broiler to quickly melt the cheese and broil all the sandwiches you order.
